We offer affordable bespoke custom pieces to luxury couture for any occasion from birthday brunches with the girls to gowns for red carpet events or bridal reception looks. This service is all about creating a custom design with Premium fabrics that sculpt and skim for every curve and make women feel strong and confident.
Bespoke differs from MTO as it’s a custom designed garment with sampling and fittings and the design involves the client on the journey of the design garment construction. It’s a more premium service than made to order.
Bespoke Order Process

If you have interest in our bespoke service please contact the team via our contact page or email email@example.com. Please send over a inspo pic of your desired design or description, when you need it for and UK dress size and measurements. Please allow 3-4 working days for a reply. Due to demand of the service our availability to take on new projects is subject existing project. Those who have paid deposits get priority and we encourage clients to get in contact 2months prior.
Express bespoke is occasionally available and should be detailed in enquiry form or email.
All designs produced in our studio design is led by LN Creative director and head tailor but we encourage a collaborative experience for clients and make ever garment custom to you. Due to our stance on integrity of designs we do not create designer replicas but can develop the design to something bespoke. Once our client is 100% happy with design, the sample process will begin and deposit should be paid (please see T&C's for more info).
We don’t only make dresses but all thing occasions wear and tailoring from suits and coats to shirts and trousers. Our creative director is trained in menswear tailoring and also works in industry so is well versed with all garments construction. Our studio does not make bespoke orders for sports wear, swimwear due to the specialist technical machinery’s needed for production. We do make African bridal gowns but it’s not featured on page to distinguish brand creative direction.
_There is no set price list for bespoke as it varies design to design and depends on fabric and complexity of cut. Each dress is One of one and is not mass produced. All patterns, toiles and garments are made in-house from scratch. We are open to price negotiations depending on your budget but we can't go too off industry standard out of consideration of the craftsmanship behind each order.
Our pricing is divided up into design process, pattern cutting, fitting and labour as one bill and fabric and materials as another. We give discounts on multi purchase and bridal parties of 2+ and promotional discounts for clients birthday outfits.
*NOTE: Invaluable sample fittings are not available for clients outside of the UK.* Part of our slow fashion Philosophy means that we create samples and have in-depth fittings with clients So they can be taken on the journey of the evolving design and make tweaks and changes to their desire. It is ideal for all bespoke clients in London/UK to be available for at least one or two fitting. Our head tailor is able to travel to you or sent it via post. *However for clients outside the UK we will work with your specific measurements and dress size taken during our virtual fitting/consultation.
Deposit Terms and Conditions:
The aim of a deposit is to secure clients work in agreed deadline and to ensure both client and Tailor benefit. It is non- refundable once confirmation of fitting measurements has taken place and fabric bought (new terms to due to covid).
The purpose of the initial consultation is to meet client, to take/ check measurements, See fabric options l, to have a clear set design- illustration and to set an agreed deadline.
Sample Dress & Fitting
A sample dress is a mock-up garment of final design and is a chance to agree with client on desired dress style and make any changes if necessary. Its a way to make sure the clients and the dressmakers interpretation of design are in alignment. Its also a way to ensure the fit of the garment is right before cutting final fabric. To see if the client is happy with fit (lower neckline/ tighter/shorter).
Any changes to design should be made explicit.
Once a deposit has been made and fabric bought a cancellation of dress is possible for the client but the deposit will not be refunded. This is out respect of the craftsmanship and time Lace & Needles Team put into each garment.
Change of style & Alterations
If for any reason a client is unhappy with work and wishes to change design after initial fitting this should be done at a the fitting. Once fabric has been cut this is not always possible.
After the 1st fitting every fitting after that required a change due to weight loss of changing of mind of the client there will be a charge.
The remaining balance of the final payment should happen on 2 days before collection or no later than 1 days after collection of garments.
